An informal and common way to say How Are You in Cantonese


When asking people how they are in Cantonese, you don’t always have to say 你好嗎 nei5 hou2 maa3. Whether you are talking to your best friend or a family member, you can speak a bit informally.

In a less formal situation, people will just say “What’s up?” 點呀 dim2 aa3.
